Vanessa De La Rosa - CEO

A seasoned CM/PM and sustainability consultant, with a background in heavy civil, infrastructure and venue projects, Vanessa brings a diverse set of skill sets to the DLR team. Having worked in a variety of roles, she has held direct positions with stakeholders from owners to lower- tier subcontractors on both public and private projects.

Her earliest roles had her getting her boots dirty as a field engineer on heavy civil projects, and she advanced to project engineer while obtaining her Masters in Construction Management from USC. From there on, she continued to consult on a project basis, grasping the best practices in construction management and learning from top engineering firms.

Having represented the City of LA in facility operations she knows what it takes to maneuver through public departments, while keeping the private owner in mind.

An LA native herself, Vanessa understands the dynamics of the region and long-term plans of Los Angeles because of her deep-rooted relationships. Understanding the needs of public entities, prime contractors, property owners, and real estate developers, she is committed to providing her clients with practical construction and project management solutions.

Brian De La Rosa - COO

Described by his colleagues as a dynamic, competitive, and visionary thinker, Brian brings an innovative approach to the construction management field. His ability to leverage his CM expertise to influence operational performance while adhering to strict safety standards, has resulted in safe, secure, and streamlined project implementation for his clients.

A serial entrepreneur since his early teens, Brian paid his way through Cal State by running two businesses on the side. Soon after graduating with a degree in Business Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Brian put his entrepreneurial spirit on hold to accept a position as Brand Marketing Manger at Disney Consumer Products.

Having worked at Fortune 100 companies such as Disney, Comcast, and Itochu, Brian has a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams for complex organizations. Over his 15 year career in strategic operations and marketing, Brian has developed global branding strategies and built operational processes for world-renown companies.

Brian is currently focused on helping DLR Planning become one of the top CM Firms in California. His primary motivation is to leave behind a legacy by building a family-owned business that will provide for his two children and future generations to come.
